New quality awards
LATI has recently acquired the following new quality
awards: Certiquality has recognized the conformance
of the Quality System of the LATI BENELUX,
LATI IBERIA and LATI USA branches with the ISO
9002 standard. In this way, the great efforts
involved (standardization of processes, activities
and records) have deservedly been awarded this
important certificate.
A special mention goes to LATI France, who, in
addition to the successful audit result, is the
first company in the group to have organized its
own Quality System in accordance with the new
ISO 9000:2000 standard (commonly known as Vision
2000).
This new standard, to which we must conform by
2003, instead of simply being a series of elements
to be satisfied, accounts for a management model
for the company business in which the main elements
are the organization, staff roles, planning, communication,
group work and evaluation.
Lastly, I should like to inform you that the QS9000
audit made at LATI S.p.A. at the end of
June had an extremely positive outcome, due to
the continual commitment of all involved, thus
helping to maintain LATI's reputation for high
quality on the market.
