(Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
The RoHs Directive strongly restricts the
use of heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Mercury,
Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) and of brominated flame-retardants
such as PBB (Polybromobiphenyls) and PBDE (Polybromodiphenylethers)
in electrical and electronic equipment.
