Dir.
2002/95/EC - RoHS
(Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
The RoHs Directive strongly restricts the use of heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) and of brominated flame-retardants such as PBB (Polybromobiphenyls) and PBDE (Polybromodiphenylethers) in electrical and electronic equipment.
Lati S.p.A., certified UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and therefore always concerned about environmental issues, has developed, thanks to its R&D laboratories, alternative products free of the above-mentioned substances in order to meet the requirements of electrical and electronic equipment manufacturers.
LATI S.p.A., through its Customer Assistance service, is available to support customers in
the correct product choice.
The above mentioned directive has been amended several times: in this respect we invite our customers to read Lati S.p.A.’s products position, referenced below, that takes into account the European Court of Justice judgement of 1st April 2008. For more information about this amendment, please consult the original paper of the judgement of the cases C-14/06 e C-295/06 available at http://curia.europa.eu .
