White Swan

The White Swan ecological label has been active in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland since 1989. It is assigned to categories of non-alimentary products, characterized by a reduced impact on the environment for its entire lifecycle.
In Scandinavian countries there are approx. 80 categories with a total of approx. 700 products that have obtained this mark.
Groups of experts coming from nations involved in and representing diverse sectors (e.g. government, industry, syndicates, commercial and environmental organizations) have setup the Nordic Ecolabelling Board, the body which coordinates all relevant decisions and regulations.
The philosophy at the basis of White Swan is that of helping the consumers in their desire to buy with a "green" conscience, so contributing to the development of a better society.
LATI S.p.A. has always been sensitive to environmental issues; its strength lies in the assignation of the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and, thanks to the studies and tests carried out by its technicians c/o the R&D laboratories, possesses and is able to develop upon request low-impact formulations which can give assistance to the customer who wishes to design manufactured articles according to the "White Swan" policy.
