An International Recognition for Commitment to Sustainability

In 2021, EcoVadis awarded LATI S.p.A. the Gold Medal for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability, thanks to the continuous improvement in the score obtained compared to the previous year.
A result that confirms the company’s commitment to promoting an ethical, responsible, and future-oriented industrial model.

Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility: LATI’s Pillars

LATI considers Sustainable Development a fundamental value of its corporate strategy.
In a globalized and interconnected world, manufacturing companies must responsibly manage environmental, social, and economic risks.
For LATI, this means integrating principles related to the following into its governance:

The 2020 pandemic further strengthened LATI’s conviction that sustainability is a strategic lever for addressing future challenges.

The EcoVadis Method and LATI’s Evaluation

Since 2014, LATI has participated in the EcoVadis global reporting program, at the request of some strategic customers.
The assessment is based on 21 performance indicators divided into four key areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement.
Each company receives a score (from 0 to 100) and a detailed scorecard that allows identifying strengths and areas for improvement.

Thanks to a process of continuous improvement, LATI achieved a score of 68/100 in 2021, ranking in the 95th percentile of the Manufacture of basic chemicals, plastics, and synthetic rubber category.

LATI among the Best Companies in the Sector

The EcoVadis Gold recognition places LATI among the best companies at an international level:

  • 🌍 Top 14% for environmental performance

  • 👥 Top 8% for Labor and Human Rights

  • 🔄 Top 24% for Sustainable Procurement

  • ⚖️ Top 5% for Ethics
