In a market increasingly focused on sustainability and efficiency of plastic materials, LATI strengthens its position by launching a new range of green and sustainable compounds with fire resistance. Among these, we announce LATIECO 66 MR H2 G/25-V0KB3, one of the first flame-retardant compounds developed in our laboratories using recycled materials.

LATIECO 66 MR H2 G/25-V0kb3: Flame-retardant Material with UL Certification

LATIECO 66 MR H2 G/25-V0KB3, in addition to being certified as flame-retardant according to UL standards, has achieved excellent results in RTI (Relative Thermal Index) testing. The material is classified with a rating of 110°C for three different thicknesses: 0.75 mm, 1.5 mm, and 3 mm. This value applies to both electrical and mechanical RTI, with and without impact. The RTI indicates the maximum temperature at which the material can be designed for long-term use, ensuring high performance and reliability even under challenging operating conditions.

Reducing Environmental Impact through Recycled Materials

Composed largely of recycled polymeric materials, LATIECO 66 MR H2 G/25-V0KB3 reduces virgin resource consumption, contributes to CO2 emissions reduction, and promotes plastic waste recovery. This makes it a material perfectly aligned with circular economy and green economy policies. In the plastics industry, where safety and durability are essential requirements, integrating recycled components without compromising technical performance is a complex challenge that we have successfully addressed.

Ideal for Electrical and Electronic Sectors

Thanks to its excellent properties, LATIECO 66 MR H2 G/25-V0KB3 is ideal for a wide range of applications, especially in electrical and electronic sectors where thermal resistance and fire safety need to be combined. The material, which maintains the UL-94 V0 flame resistance levels of the standard product, perfectly meets the requirements for components exposed to high temperatures, ensuring dimensional stability and top-level mechanical properties.

LATIECO: Sustainability and Innovation for the Future of Plastics

The new LATIECO range not only offers solid technical performance but also integrates a strong commitment to sustainability, an increasingly demanded feature in global markets. The use of UL-certified materials containing recycled components allows companies to comply with regulatory and environmental requirements, promoting more responsible production.
