Commitment, Integrity, Transparency
LATI has always operated with respect for legality, people, and the environment. Our Code of Ethics represents the foundation of our corporate culture: it guides our daily actions and reflects the values we share with employees, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
Ethical Principles
Transparency
Legality
Honesty and Impartiality
Respect for People and the Environment
We ask all those who work with us – internal and external – to know, respect, and promote these values. The Code is integrated into our Supplier Quality Manual and General Purchase Conditions.
The Responsible Evolution of the Code of Ethics
In 2024, LATI updated its Code of Ethics to include:
The values and objectives of the Benefit Corporation
The rejection of the use of LATI products for purposes harmful to individuals
The commitment to responsible working conditions and the protection of human rights
Updates to Legislative Decree 231/01 on reporting methods and administrative responsibility
Human Rights and Respect for People
LATI acts in compliance with international regulations and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, concretely committing to:
Prohibition of forced labor, child labor, slavery, or human trafficking
Inclusion, valuing diversity, and equal opportunities
Fighting against all forms of harassment
Guaranteeing decent work, with minimum wages at least equal to national contracts
Organizational Model 231: Responsibility and Oversight
Since 2019, LATI has adopted its own Organization, Management, and Control Model (Legislative Decree 231/01) to ensure compliance with regulations and prevent non-compliant behavior. The system is supervised by an independent Supervisory Body, composed of external members, responsible for monitoring its application and constantly updating it.
In 2024:
No reports of non-compliance were detected
6 out of 11 business activities were evaluated as "at risk"
No incidents of corruption or violation of social and economic regulations were recorded
Whistleblowing: how to Report?
To ensure transparency and protection, LATI provides:
Integrity Complylog: secure and anonymous online platform
Physical mail: Supervisory Body, Via Baracca 7, 21040 Vedano Olona (VA)
Email: odv@it.lati.com
Through Integrity Complylog, anyone can anonymously report:
Incidents of violence or harassment
Discrimination or non-inclusive acts
Violations of the Code of Ethics, Gender Equality Policy, or Model 231
Reports are treated with impartiality and confidentiality exclusively by external members of the Supervisory Body. LATI ensures compliance with Legislative Decree 24/2023 implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and promotes a safe, fair, inclusive work environment.
