LATI reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by achieving the EcoVadis 2025 Gold Medal, with a score of 83/100 — the same as in 2024, when the company earned the Platinum Medal.
This result confirms the strength and consistency of LATI’s sustainability journey, in a context where EcoVadis assessment criteria have become increasingly stringent, making access to the Platinum level even more selective.
“Maintaining such a high score in a context of increasingly demanding requirements is a great source of pride for us. It is tangible proof that our path toward sustainability is solid, measurable, and fully integrated into our corporate strategy,”
says Michela Conterno, CEO of LATI.
In recent years, LATI has launched a structured program to reduce environmental impact and contribute to the energy transition, in line with the Paris Agreement.
LATI uses 100% renewable electricity and has installed a 414 kW photovoltaic system at its Gornate Olona site.
A high-efficiency trigeneration system is nearing completion, and in 2025 LATI obtained ISO 50001 certification for Energy Management.
The company has replaced LPG forklifts with electric vehicles.
The EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert software by Schneider Electric enables precise monitoring of energy consumption and greater production efficiency.
LATI has offset 88% of its remaining Scope 1 emissions through certified projects, including Campo dei Fiori (to protect the Varese area) and the Wind Energy Project in India.
This commitment was recognized with the ClimatePartner Campo dei Fiori Impact Award 2025.
In 2024, LATI developed 104 new projects, 31 of which were sustainable, using recycled or renewable raw materials.
The LATIECO and LATIGEA product lines embody LATI’s circular and responsible approach.
In 2025, LATI obtained Operation Clean Sweep® certification, confirming its commitment to preventing the dispersion of plastic pellets and improving air extraction and emission control systems.
With eighty years of history, LATI continues to demonstrate that innovation and responsibility can grow together.
The maintenance of the EcoVadis score and the recognitions obtained in 2025 confirm the solidity of LATI’s sustainability strategy and its commitment to contributing concretely to a more sustainable, efficient, and aware industry.
“Every achievement is a milestone in a broader journey, one that places innovation and responsibility at the heart of our corporate growth,” concludes Michela Conterno.
LATI continues its path with the goal of creating value for people, customers, and the environment — today and for future generations.
