LATI presents the list of referenced thermoplastic compounds within the 2024 Material Panel (PMR) of the Renault Group. For the fourth year, LATI achieves several certified products for all brands of the RENAULT automotive group.
Flame-retardant Thermoplastic Materials for Electric Vehicles
LATI is now recognized as one of the leading European manufacturers of flame-retardant thermoplastics for high-voltage electrical applications. Today, LATI extends its expertise and products to the automotive sector, focusing particularly on EV (electric vehicle) and UB (under engine bonnet) functions following Renault’s requirements.
The range of materials includes standard grades for electrical applications based on PA (LATAMID) and PBT (LATER); flame retardants with or without halogens; reinforced with glass fibers.
Compounds in PPS (LARTON) or PESU (LAPEX A) are dedicated to the highest temperature classes. Our LATICONTHER compound range based on PA6 or PPS is capable of offering high levels of thermal conductivity and, if necessary, electrical insulation.
