LATI Industria Termoplastici S.p.a. celebrates its third consecutive year of success with the prestigious gold medal from EcoVadis, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Since 2014, LATI has been measuring its performance in terms of sustainability through EcoVadis’ ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) assessment platform, one of the most internationally recognized evaluation systems, to increase the company’s positive impact on the environment, people, and society.
EcoVadis assesses companies’ sustainable performance in the categories of Environment, Labor Practices and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, assigning a score from 0 to 100. Additionally, it provides a detailed scorecard with specific comments to identify areas for improvement.
In 2021, LATI obtained the gold medal, and in 2023 it further improved its score by 5 points, moving from 68/100 to 73/100. This result has positioned the company in the top 4% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis that have achieved the highest scores in its sector
This significant improvement was made possible thanks to LATI’s commitment to decarbonization and the fight against climate change, factors that have contributed to improving scores in the Environment and Sustainable Procurement categories.
