Advanced Thermoplastic Solutions for the Automotive Sector

LATI strengthens its position as a key technological partner for the automotive sector, renewing its presence in the Renault Group’s A-PMR 2025 materials panel. The new list of certified thermoplastic compounds is designed for key applications in electric vehicles (EV) and Under the Bonnet (UB) environments, meeting the most stringent technical requirements in terms of performance, safety, and sustainability.


LATI Flame-Retardant Thermoplastics: Safety for Electrical Applications in EV Vehicles

As a European leader in the production of flame-retardant thermoplastic materials for electrical applications, LATI applies its expertise to automotive by developing advanced solutions for critical EV components.
The Renault 2025 Panel includes compounds based on:

  • PA6 and PA66 (LATAMID) and PBT (LATER) – both available in UL94 V0, halogen-free versions reinforced with glass fibers;
  • These grades are ideal for overmolding metal components and for elements subject to high mechanical and thermal stress.

For applications requiring high electrical insulation, LATI offers compounds based on high-temperature polymers:

  • PPS (LARTON)
  • PESU (LAPEX A)

Suitable for electric motor insulation.

Recently added to the 2025 panel, LATICONTHER 62 GR/50 NT:8826 is a PA6 compound reinforced with 50% graphite, offering high thermal conductivity.

An ideal solution to meet increasingly demanding thermal management requirements.
