RADIOPAQUE THERMOPLASTICS

The LATIGRAY compounds are ideal for variable shielding of X-rays, delivering anything from simple contrast to total shielding. They are made up of a thermoplastic matrix with a large quantity of heavy inert and non-toxic, ceramic or metallic filler.

Designed to replace lead and its oxides traditionally used for the manual shielding in radiography equipment, LATIGRAY materials are ideal for moulding series of radiopaque elements in the medical and industrial sectors, as well as for safety applications.
